Sac measuring 4 weeks 6 days when I’m 6 week?

Hi everyone
I had an early scan yesterday to put my mind at ease following a miscarriage back in September. I kinda wish I hadn’t though now though cos there was only a sac there measuring 4 weeks 6 days but according to my lmp I should be 6 weeks??? I’m so worried but the sonographer didn’t seem concerned she just was saying it’s too early???? I’ve got another scan in 3 weeks but I just can’t stop thinking about what if somethings wrong again??? I really couldn’t cope! Has anyone else had a similar experience??? Should I have seen more at the scan or is she right everything’s fine?? Xxx

I was supposed to be 7+2 at my first scan based on LMP - but they measured me at 5+6. Just when into today at my new 6+6 and things are growing just along just fine. Healthy heart and things looking great. They told me I may of ovulated late or I may have taken a little longer for implementation. I’m sending you good luck vibes. Hoping everything is okay

You probably just ovulated late darl. It’s happened to me twice now. With my first daughter I went at 7 weeks and turned out to only be 5 weeks and I just went for a scan when I was supposed to be 9 weeks and I was 7. Don’t stress xx

I went in for two scans that were 3 days apart (I see a maternal fetal medicine specialist and OBGYN) thinking I was close to 7 weeks based off my LMP but all they could see was a gestational sac, no yolk sac or anything. I was so worried and it was the longest two weeks of my life waiting for that next scan. The next scan showed a little peanut with a heart rate of 162 and I was dated at 7 weeks 2 days, so I was actually 2 weeks behind what I thought I was. I ovulated a lot later than I thought I did which made sense because I tested almost everyday and never got a BFP until 5 days after my period was due and even then it was a very faint line. I know it’s soooo hard not to worry but just try to keep busy until your next scan. You probably are just way earlier than you think you are!!

Don’t worry, according to my LMP I am 9+2, but my scan measured at 8+1. I’m sure everything is fine.
