Testing with late ovulation?

My temps, usual ovulation pain, and CM have indicated that I ovulated a few days late this month. Ever since yesterday, I have had nausea, headaches and my breasts are very sensitive more than usual. I still don’t have cramps or even the start of cramps other than about 4 days ago I had weird quick sharp pains in my uterus but they weren’t cramps or anything I have felt before? I’m 6 days late for my period from when it has usually showed up at 30 CD. I’ve never had a late ovulation and I have never had an irregular period like this so I’m not sure how this would affect when to start testing. I don’t want to test early so I’m just curious when I should start testing and how a late ovulation may affect my period. I ovulated 5 days late.
