Major Curveball

Well, we went in for my saline ultrasound and follow up appointment with our

IVF

specialist today. We were told months ago that my husband had 0% morphology, and we were planning to do

IVF

+ICSI this summer.

Today, we found out that my husband’s second semen analysis came back perfectly normal. All of my blood work came back perfectly normal. I have a uterine septum that could be large enough to cause problems but we don’t know for sure yet. I have an HSG this month to check my tubes, and I will have a scope to look more closely at the uterine septum.

I am feeling guilty because while I should be happy my husband’s results were good, I feel like it is a setback. I had a clear picture of what would be happening for us in the near future, and now that there isn’t anything clearly preventing us, I feel like we are back to square one. 😔
