Sucking on Nipple helps cramping?

My boyfriend was trying to calm me down (demonic screeches of pain from.period cramps my blood was trying to summon satan...but failed horribly.) I complained about breast tenderness and he had an idea to play with my breast and suck on them...Strangely enough it helped my cramping...Weird...I am sensitive with my breast but is it weird to like it alot?
