I got an answer about my infertility!!!
After being diagnosed with pelvic inflammatory disease in July 2016, I was told there was a minimal chance I would have issues getting pregnant. I was immediately paranoid that I would have issues, my doctor reassured me that I would be fine. About a year later my husband and I started TTC. After 9 months we have not been able to get pregnant. All other fertility tests were great including my husbands semen analysis. I pushed for a hysterosalpinogram(HSG) test that checks for a blockage in the Fallopian tubes due to scar tissue from Pelvic inflammatory disease. Finally, my doctor agreed to let me get the test. Today I had the procedure, and come to find out, SURPRISE; both tubes are blocked. Now the next step is surgery. I am super nervous about the next step of this journey, but am hoping the success rate is good. Looking for some encouragement and some success stories.
