Does your father buy you supplies/help when you’re on your period?

Mine does and some of my friends find it weird/embarrassing? Why is it embarrassing hes your father and obviously knows what they are!!!!!

It might just be the blessing of a man I call Father, but my dad heard me throwing up one night (bad PMS 😭) and came into the bathroom with a basket that had a  box of tampons, Midol, water, saltine crackers, a pillow and blanket to sleep on the bathroom floor, and a pillow for himself to sleep in the hallway in case I woke up to vomit again 😭💙

Dad bought mom's and when I star2he would buy if i needed him to. I would rip open the box and hand him the front so he would know what to get. Didn't phase him. Now I'm married and my husband is the same way. Women bleed. Men know this. Men aren't embarrassed, boys are.

Obviously he doesn’t now because I’m grown, but my parents divorced when I was 11 and I went back and forth between them. So my dad would always ask me if I needed any “stuff” whenever I stayed with him, and if so we went to the store and he just let me pick out the kind I used and would buy them. I don’t see the big deal lol. Obviously he knows what a period is, so why would it be awkward?

When I was in high school he wouldn’t let me get a job so I would ask him for money and he would ask what for so I would tell him and he had no issue at all giving me money so I can buy tampons etc. now I’m an adult with a child, a job and go to college so obviously I pay and buy my own lol
