FTM help! Safest way for baby to sleep?

There are so many things people say are unsafe practices for babies to sleep in. I’ve heard to get a pack n play, rock n play sleeper, and a doc a tot. What is the safest thing for baby to sleep in? I currently have a cradle I refinished, but now I’m unsure about using it. Baby girl will be here in about two weeks

Pretty much anything that is firm and flat with nothing in it. A crib, bassinet, or pack n play are all safe options.

Crib, pack and play, or bassinet. These are the safest options. 
With nothing in the sleeping area, no blankets, stuffed animals, pillows etc. 
They can usually nap just fine in a swing or something, as long as you’re able to watch them. But for overnight sleeping, one of the options I suggested above is best.

The absolute safest way for a baby to sleep is in a crib, pack n play or bassinet. Firm, flat surface with absolutely nothing in there with them. No blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, sleep positioners, crib bumpers (mesh or not), etc. Baby should never be placed in your bed and things like swings and rock n plays are very dangerous for unsupervised overnight sleep.

My boy slept in a bassinet for about a month and then onto his crib. 
This time we are getting a pack n play that has the bassinet insert.
