(Currently writing this half asleep at 4am sorry if it's jumbly)Our baby boy, Thomas James , made his entrance into the world on 4/29 at 4:26am weighing 8lbs & 1oz, 21 inches long. I got a call on the 27th from my OB that I was being induced due to too much protein in my urine. I was officially given the pitocin fluids at 9am Saturday along with them having to use a balloon on me to help dilate my cervix (Dr ended up breaking my water putting it in) It took me a long time to dilate, but with him bring my first it was expected. 2 hours of pushing and breathing went by, by that time my epidural started wearing off and they brought in the "vacuum" to help get him out because his head was too big for my body to handle. I only suffered 2 second degree tears and a few hemeroids but in the end it was so worth it. I'm still in awe that my body made such a miracle. I never thought I could love something this much ❤️ His father was so loving and supportive through the entire process of being here and me birthing him. I feel like the luckiest woman on Earth 😍
