Pre labor sickness?

After my appointment yesterday and my doctor saying it will be any day now I am feeling so miserably sick. Nausea, fever, hot flashes, whole body hurts. Is this normal pre labor sickness or am I actually getting sick??😅

It could be either.  I was pretty lucky, but I would have days here and there toward the end (last 3/4 weeks for me) where I just felt under the weather - tired, nauseous, just pain yuck.  I was lucky in that I would have 1 or 2 bad days and then I would have some good days...before a few more bad days.
Women on other forums I was on had what seemed like a nasty GI thing...so there is a lot of variation.  It seemed like The ladies with the particularly nasty GI  symptoms usually went into labor several days after the onset of those symptoms.

I hope this is true! I go to the doctor today so I’ll have to ask. I’m 37+5 but last week I was already 2 cm and 90% effaced. Cervix was still high though. But doc says he’ll be very surprised if I make it to my due date because baby is extremely low and acting like she’s ready.
