Is it natural for mothers after a missed miscarriage to assume that your next pregnancy will be the same?

I feel like such a negative nelly with this pregnancy. I had two healthy children (6 and 4 yrs old) then a miscarriage at 13 weeks. This pregnancy, I have this terrible negativity in my head that I basically expect a miscarriage and I’m waiting for the ball to drop. Like I’m not even giving it a chance. Looking for positive stories or encouragement.

I’m 30 weeks and I still worry that something bad will happen even though the chances are very low at this point. I’ve been a mess this whole pregnancy but everything has been fine so far

After two miscarriages I was the same way. During the entire pregnancy with my son I always assumed something would go wrong or it would end in a miscarriage. I think I was just used to getting the bad news and did not want to get my hopes up. Once I got past the 2nd trimester I started feeling more positive about my pregnancy and the rest of the time was great.

it's always good to prepare for something bad to happen so it doesn't hurt us more, but don't just expect it to happen because then it causes stress, which causes miscarriage. just stay positive sweetie
