My boyfriend and I have been technically dating for about a month now, but we were “talking” for a couple of months before that. We have sex and I hang out at his place a lot and his friends know me as his girlfriend too. Yet he has never asked me on a real date/taken me on a real date. Am I just a glorified friends with benefits?

He’s officially asked me to be his girlfriend, and I don’t want to be the one to pressure him to take me on a date. I’m not sure why he won’t take me on a date, he says he loves me
