Any suggestions or experience??

Please give me some advice..   I have low ovarian reserve.  I had 1 egg retrieved.   It fertilized and today (day 2) it divided to 6 cells.   I have transfer tomorrow.  Embryologist said it has many fragmentations and appears dark.  She said it’s up to me if I still want to transfer.   Any experience with this?   What would you do???

Is there a reason why they aren’t waiting to see if it turns into a blast on day 5? Is it because there is only 1? I️ am not sure about the darkness issue. I️ don’t have any personal experience with that. I️ do know that the higher the percentage of fragments though, the less likely for implantation. Do you know the percentage?

I think I’d try, you never know, I think I’d always wonder if it would have worked if I didn’t.

I don’t have any experience with IVF. I would try to get a clearer picture from your doctor about odds at your appointment tomorrow. They may feel that it’s worth a shot. Please keep us updated.
