I go to the doctors today for birth control. What should i expect going in there? Will they have me take a pregnancy test ?

They will if you’ve had unprotected sex since your last period. They will ask a few questions about your periods and ask you what kind of birth control you want and then teach you about it.

I didn’t have to take a pregnancy test. But I’m also not sexually active. If you’re sexually active I would say it’s very likely they have you take one just to be sure you’re not pregnant.
