How did you announce your first pregnancy to your SO?

When I get pregnant (hopefully soon!) with my first baby, my husband wants me to take the test and surprise him. But he said he doesn’t wanna be surprised with “baby carrots/baby food ect.) I want to do something super creative for him! Anyone have any ideas?!

I gave my husband a tshirt that I had made that said “DILF” on it. He loved it and still wears the shirt all the time

I didn't even think I was. I took a test just to check it off the list bc I had been sleeping weird and feeling very hot. Bam pregnant. It came up before the urine went all the way across the test. I called him in there bc I was so shocked and asked him what it said. He laughed and said "well your eggo is preggo". This time I took a test without his knowledge and had our daughter give it to him :)

My husband is big on sports and this is how I announced it to him when I found out.

I took the test while he was in the shower and didn’t know it. When I saw the positive I was so shocked and like scared. All I said was “...babe” and he pulled back the curtain and I was just standing there (the test was on the sink behind the wall) all he had to do was look at my face and he said “you’re pregnant”

I had a little shirt made for our dog 🐶 it said “going to be a big brother.” My husband was away for two weeks on business so I had to keep it a secret! When he got home, I had the dog wearing it to greet him

I had a onesie custom made with team helmets from mine and my SO’s fave football teams and wrapped it up like a gift. 30 seconds after my BFP, I woke him up and made him open the gift.

My boyfriend had a feelin I was pregnant before I even got a positive. He somehow knows when my period is supposed to start so he knew I was late.
I didn’t get a positive until over a week late and he had already been saying that I was pregnant so I couldn’t really do anything to surprise him.
All I did was lay the positive test on top of a baby blanket just to show him the confirmation.
My period is currently late again so hopefully this time I can actually surprise him (IF i am pregnant). 
If I’m not pregnant now then I have a bunch of cute little ideas for announcements! 
If you get a positive before Father’s Day you could get him a Father’s Day gift.
