Semen - what do you know?

Question

Has anyone been told by fertility doc how often a man should ejaculate when trying to conceive? How often should a man ejaculate in general to have the highest sperm count? 
My hubbys semen analysis he was supposed to wait 2 days after but not more then 5 days after ejaculating to give the sample... I’m guessing thats for a reason regarding the dead sperm and new sperm...
Any help here?

So I've read a person with high enough sperm count can ejaculate daily and it's good because it keeps fresh semen in there. I think it's different for everyone depending on your sperm count, but I'm interested to hear if anyone has some actual fertility specialist experience!

Saw men’s fertility specialist (urologist) today and he said that it’s hard to time it perfectly but before I ovulate hubby should have last ejaculated 2-5 days before for highest chances. It’s ok to have sex daily or every other day during ovulation time for highest chances.
Less then 2 days means the volume could be lower. 
MAN THIS FERTILITY STUFF IS TOUGH!!! 
There is a science, but definitely an art! lol

every other day. if you ejaculate ervryday the sperm count is lower if u wait a while like 5 days it's going to be higher than normal because it has not been released. they should take a sample after every other day of ejaculation to get what his normal sperm consist of... not old sperm and not new
