Okay so my doctor did a horrible job of explaining my birth control to me, and basically just told me “it’s a very effective pill with little side effects”. I’ve been taking it a month, and I have some questions. I have been taking it three weeks, and I start my first white pill tonight. I know that’s supposed to be the “break” when you have a period. I’ve heard that sometimes the first period can be off if you start at a weird time in your cycle, and I did. If I were to take the white pills and not get my period, would I still be protected? Some feedback would be GREAT.
