Well, today I have learned that some women are off their freaking rockers. 😂 I’m 37+5, due May 17th. I’ve had a few very minor complications and some issues with my fluid levels so I’m getting induced on May 11th, which will put me at 39+1 when baby is born. Doctor & I both agreed a scheduled induction is best for me and baby. However - I’ve been slammed with a group of known mommy shamers for this!

These moms told me I’m selfish for letting my doctor induce me a week early and not “giving baby a chance to fully mature”. I couldn’t believe it. For one, I have a small frame and a history of big babies. My doctor does not want me to have a large child again due to my high risk for bleeding. Two, my husband works out of the area and my only other help is taking a week off from work to come into town. If I go into labor on my own I won’t have help. Having it scheduled gives both my husband & my mom time to get time off to be around. My husband doesn’t want to miss the birth of our 2nd girl.

But lastly - WHY THE HELL DO SOME MOMS HAVE TO JUDGE OTHER MOMS FOR EVERY CHOICE THEY MAKE?! 😡 Seriously. We wonder why our kids have bullying issues or judgement issues. You’re why, mommy shamers!
