Does he like me?

I like him, but I can’t tell if he likes me, so here’s 2 times I think he might. I’m going to call him M for now. We’re in middle school.

#1 M. and his friends are hanging out playing fooseball. My feet have a mind of their own, and wander over. I set my backpack down, and say hi, (without thinking) and then notice M is ALONE at a fooseball table, and my feet (again) wander over. I ask to play, and he says yes (YES!!!) and we play half a game or so (I can’t control the game like usual cuz, ya know...) and the bell rang (😭)

#2 My friends and I are eating lunch in MPR. M. is playing ping pong a few feet away. And I’m staring dreamily. He looses the ball and it bounces away. Right to where we’re sitting. Inches from my feet. He says something like “whoops sorry” we’re like “it’s ok” My friends are being humiliating so I blush and look away. It made my day. On our way out I’m staring so hard, I’m walking backwards. My friend is elbowing me and being all “oO0Oo! M.!” And I’m telling her to shut up out of the corner of my mouth. At a sleepover she tells me this: while I was blushing and looking away, he was looking RIGHT AT ME!! 😊
