Both. Electric is great but you're stuck in one place. Manual is great for convenience of being mobile.

Both -- I started with the manual until I felt like my body could handle the electric.  Now I use the electric daily, and if I need to pump "on the go," I use the manual.

I used both and manual could not pump as much milk as my electric one could. Also my hand hurted so bad when I used manual. You get both and see which works best for you.

both. I have an oversupply so I electrically pump in between but I use a manual pump to get my first letdown so I don't choke the baby. I also use the manual on the opposite boob that baby is feeding on to get relief because my guy only drinks from one boob during a feeding

i say electric with my first one i used manual and with that it would take me up to 30minutes to pump both breast with the electric pump i pumped both breast at one in 10-15minutes i have the lansinoh double breast pump
