I’ve always had regular periods until I had my son in 2016. Once he was born, I trying was breastfeeding for the first 3 months so I wasn’t getting a period. When I stopped, I received a period but then I only had one more cycle until I got the mirena almost 2 weeks ago. I got my cycle about 4 days ago. yesterday it was getting lighter like my typical regular period were before my son but today, I have bad cramps again and it’s heavy. Like clots of blood when I wipe. It’s this just mirena doing its thing since my periods were basically MIA for over a year? Or should I contact my gyn today?
