So my fiancé already has two kids with his ex wife. He went through pregnancies, birth, caring for a newborn etc.

I’m pregnant with my first and everything is pretty new to me.

But it really bothers me that he’s the “expert” on everything. I’m the one carrying the baby, and he has, in fact, never been pregnant!

He tells me my nausea isn’t a real thing, it’s made up. He tells me my frequent urination is in my head because his ex got that much later on. He tells me my cramps aren’t real because his ex didn’t have them. But he insists I’m anemic because she was.

I knew having kids with someone who already has them would be different. But I feel like I don’t even get to experience my pregnancy because he’s been there done that.

Anyone else in the same boat?
