TMI!!! Bloody show picture/question?

I'm 39+1 today, they checked my cervix and said I was 2.5 cm 75% effaced. I just went pee and looked down and this was in the toilet. is this normal?! also how long after your bloody show did you go into labor? does it mean anything?

You can have bleeding after they check your cervix but hat looks like an awful lot. I’d say it is your bloody show. And if you have more bright red bleeding I’d call your doc

It definitely could be, or it could be from the exam you had. I would use a pantyliner and just to make sure. If it stops cool, if it persists I would let your provider know.

you should always expect some spotting after they check your cervix, don’t stress unless it gets more than spotting
