Chest congestion and flu-like before labor?

I have been building up this chest congestion all day but don't have any other symptoms other than the general malaise and acheyness you feel with the flu. No sinus stuff. Someone told me it was a hormonal sign of impending labor... anyone else get cold/flu symptoms before labor?

I didn’t have those symptoms before I went into labor with my first. I’ve got allergies right now though while all of the oak trees are blooming

I currently have chest congestion and nasal congestion, but I think mine is because spring finally showed up and people have been mowing.

Yesterday I suddenly got a nasty cold and have been running to the bathroom all night..I'm hoping it does mean labors coming soon! I don't know if it's in my head but I don't feel like this is a typical cold. I feel awful but don't want to lay down I just want to do stuff around the house

Long story...and a slightly different situation...I got a legit sinus thing a week before going into labor.  I wanted to cut my head off...so much pain and pressure.
My doctor advised me to take Mucinex and behind the counter Sudafed...which worked amazingly well to get rid of the pain and congestion for 3 days...but the congestion started coming back day 4 into the Meds and it seemed like the Meds lost their effectiveness.
I went into labor 6 days after the sinus thing started.  About an hour after the baby was born, my nose started running like a river...and ran like that for 6 hours straight!  I went through 3 boxes of tissue.  It was very glamorous.
So, pregnancy can definitely impact you in weird ways.  You are producing more mucus (for that mucus plug) and your body naturally produces more mucus in general during pregnancy...so I think it is possible this could be labor sign.

I'm due on the 14th and i'm definately conjested, no other symptoms though!

I have been congested for months, but yesterday I also felt like crap and pukey and, well, flu-like all day. I got hopeful, but nothing so far, and I feel better today. 🤷🏻‍♀️😤
