New clothes: Do you wash all clothes before 1st wear?

I washed everything that was going to touch baby. His clothes, socks, hats, bibs, towels, wash clothes, any type of bedding. Some people suggest only washing whatever clothes you have for whatever size they are wearing like if they’re wearing new born then just wash that or if they’re wearing 0-3 then just wash that. I washed all of his clothes regardless of size a few weeks before he was born. Baby’s grow out of clothes so fast that I didn’t want to be in a pinch when he out grew something and it’s so much easier to wash everything before hand so that way you don’t have a crap ton of stuff to put away when baby is here.

I try to. New clothes are handled by so many people. But I’ve put new clothes on baby before without washing. Not going to lie.
