What’s the weirdest thing that’s happened to you in a grocery store?

I was looking at something on the shelf and a tall/big man maybe in his 40s/50s came RUNNING up behind me and did a jump, lifted his leg up like a karate move prepared to kick me from behind!
I whipped around and right before he kicked me he jerked to a stop and said “sorry! I thought you were someone else” and embarrassed he like jogged away.

I was picking up a package of chicken drum sticks and had the guy next to me ask if i like short fat meat. He then winked at me and walked away...

I went to get Almond milk and there was this guy standing in the way holding two of the same kind but different brands. He kept looking at each and almost putting it back, then changing his mind, looking at each again, etc. It was so robotic looking like he was stuck in a loop. I got tired of waiting, since he was blocking all of them I said "you want the Almond breeze vanilla" and he turned his head to me, again, in a robotic-unnatural movement, and said "yes. I. do. thank. you." slowly and emphatically while just staring at me. Then he turned and walked away with the milk holding it awkwardly mid-chest like he was going to hand it to somebody. It was soooooo weird. Either I gave a command to a real robot or he was on some sort of drug and trying to act normal, but the decision just broke his mind.

i farted loudly and didn't know anyone was behind me and i turned around and blamed it on my almost 4yo son by saying omg son say excuse me but i think the person knew it was me so i just walked away fairly quickly 😂😂😂😂

Hubby and I like making late night trips to the store when we’re tired and loopy. We also end up dancing and singing away!
We love making fools out of ourselves!

Just the other week I was standing in front of the cheese looking for some feta when I turned around and noticed my buggy (shopping cart) was missing. I looked around and noticed a man standing at the sour cream with items in his cart that looked an awful lot like mine. 
I went up to him and said "Excuse me, Sir, I think you have my buggy." 
He said, "Oh, man, I'm sorry. Wait, then where is mine?" 
He was very confused.

Some old dude came up and talked for 5 minutes about how perfect my pink glitter cut crease was. Didn’t even say “hi”, and then, walked away. I don’t take compliments well, and it wasn’t even a real conversation, just him. Creepily talking about my makeup.
