I mean, you would have to prove it, and undiagnosed means you cant. you can ask the court for him to have a psyche evaluation .

I would hope not? The idea a court could take your child away just because a person claims you have a “ mental issue” would really be some shit! Also people with a mental disorder can still parent even if there is an actual diagnosis so, No! 
Also ( not saying you are) if you act petty and start throwing accusations at the other parent judges really don’t like that shit and you could end up with the “state” taking your child from BOTH of you, and it can really back fire so before you make any allegations, try first to foster a relationship with the child and parent because it’s in the best interest of the child. That being said, if you are truly afraid for the welfare of your child you need concrete proof!

they would have to be diagnosed and even then, the courts would have to believe that their illness negatively impacts their ability in keeping their child safe. hope things get sorted for you.

Nope!! My husbands ex wife has SEVERAL mental illnesses (not to mention drug abuse over the years) and has even slit her wrists in front of my 14 year old stepdaughter (she was younger when that happened) and she still gets visitations.
