My daughter is 3 and a half months old and her whole life she’s breastfed on one breast per feed for about 20-25 minutes about two weeks ago I weened her off the breast shields and now she’ll only eat until after my let down which is about 5 minutes and then just gets frustrated. I’m wondering if she feels my let down now that there’s no barrier between her and the spray and is getting frustrated at the slower flow afterwards or if she is just eating less because she can get a better latch with no shields. I couldn’t feel my let down with the shield but I can without them. She’s been gaining like a weed these last two weeks so I think she’s getting enough milk I’m just worried she’s not getting enough hind milk. Anyone with similar experiences or advice?
