that's not a toy...

I've been using a menstrual cup for several years now, and once I got used to it, I didn't want to use anything else!

So Tuesday night I was in the shower and took my cup out to wash it really well as I was finished my period. I set the cup on the side of the tub to dry before putting it away and didn't think about it anymore. Then on Wednesday night, I was happily taking another shower until I pulled back the curtain and noticed... my mental cup is gone!

First thought: it got knocked off accidentally. I looked around the whole bathroom and found nothing.

Second thought: husband moved it. Quick nope as he thinks it's really gross, and doesn't even want to see it sitting out, so he would never touch it unless he had to. I asked anyway and he said that he didn't move it.

Third thought: the dog took it. I looked everywhere in our bedroom and the dog's cage and found nothing. I had a feeling he'd chewed it up or eaten it but couldn't confirm since he was behaving normally. Still hoping it would show up eventually, I went to bed.

At 4 am I wake up to the sound of our dog throwing up. I get up to check on him and sure enough, there is a pile of little pink silicon pieces in the floor! I guess I'm getting a new cup for next month! hahaha

TLDR: my dog ate my menstrual cup!
