Struggling with overeating!!

I've just been put on mirtazapine and it's making me feel so hungry! I have tried not to overeat but I really can't help it! I want to lose weight so bad but I just can't help but eat! What can I do to try and stop myself from just eating so much? Any advice and tips would be greatly appreciated
