My son is 4 and i feel so guilty! Anyone else have a little guy need major dental work like this? Did you go through with it? Choose an alternative?

I know my current dentist does not use gas, only local anesthetic and my son is not into getting shots.

Thoughts? Advice? Please no shaming, I help him brush his teeth am/pm and take him to check ups. I’ve always had “bad” teeth too despite routine care.
