so I've been on early maternity leave for a week and a half, ive been having contractions and I was dialted 1/2 a centimeter last week. yesterday I went to my doctor cause I had some bright red spotting, and he swabbed my cervix, and sent me home. he didnt check to see if I dialted any more, he said since my cervix wasn't bleeding, I may have a tear in my placenta but he didnt order an ultrasound to check.. I haven't spotted today but I've done nothing. like I slept in late and I've been resting all day cause my sons at daycare. I asked my doctor to give me a referral to a maternal fetal specialist, and he said hmwell see. I go back in next Thursday. and I'm mad he didnt actually check anything and pretty much blew me off.
