Cheap couple vacation ideas?

My boyfriend & I are kind of thinking about eloping. So we’d went to get married/honeymoon. Any recommendations? We live in Texas so we kind of want to fly somewhere. If we don’t elope it will be nice to have a mini vacation with my love. Comments places or comment links please

My husband and I got married in Costa Rica last year! It was so much fun and so beautiful. Flights from Dallas should be pretty inexpensive and straightforward. We flew in to SJO and got married at La Mariposa Hotel in Manuel Antonio. There are also beautiful venues in La Fortuna and if you are in to very rustic and nature-themed then check out Luna Lodge in the OSA Peninsula. Absolutely beautiful and lots of wildlife!

Gatlinburg, TN is nice for a little getaway. I might be biased because I live about an hour away but they have great restaurants, lots of activities, there are cabins/condos/hotels and the Smoky Mountains are gorgeous. Plus you aren’t far from the theme park Dollywood. They also have several affordable little wedding chapels and stuff.

Anywhere in the Caribbean would be a short cheap flight for you. In Mexico I love The Beloved Hotel, a boutique all inclusive, very high end. Also love the Iberostar Grand, another high end all inclusive, this ones adults only. We upgraded to an oceanfront room and had a personal Butler-he packed and unpacked our clothes, ironed our clothes for dinner each night, made our dinner reservations for each night, had romantic rose petal baths and champagne waiting for us when we got back to the room, and even picked us up in a golf cart to transport us when I was wearing heels and being a baby ;)
