Spotting

I’ve got a doctors appointment tomorrow at 8 but a little reassurance would be appreciated. I’m between 5 weeks 5 days and 6 weeks 2 days. I had this spotting when I wiped today. Nothing on a pad when left in for an hour. I lost my last pregnancy at 21 weeks so I am trying not to panic. I’ve had no cramping or back pain but I’m still scared. On Monday I had an appointment and was told I did have a yeast infection. I finished day 3 of the 3 day Monistat my doctor recommended last night. Could the Monistat or yeast infection have to do with the spotting? Has anyone had spotting like this and a healthy pregnancy?

Update: 3 1/2 hours later I have stayed in bed with a pant liner and have no blood on the panty liner. When I do go to the bathroom there is still very minimal spotting. Still no cramps or back pain but still impatiently waiting on answers. We did have an ultrasound on Monday that showed a gestational sac but they said I was only about 5 weeks at the time. I’m trying to stay as calm as I can but I’m supposed to go camping with my mom and sisters tomorrow and I don’t know what to do.

Update: my doctors appointment went well this morning. We have a developed yolk sac now which we did not see yet on Monday so things are progressing. I do have a small hemorrhage but my midwife isn’t too concerned and feels it will clear in the next 2-3 days.

Update: just had my ultrasound on Monday and had a confirmation of a healthy heartbeat and that they can see where the bleeding was and it is now clotting.

Update: it took roughly 6 weeks for the hemorrhage to heal but I am currently 22 +4 with a healthy baby boy
