I need career advice.

So basically for the the longest time I wanted to be a thoracic surgeon ( heart surgeon) but I don't know if I would be good at it or if It would be my thing I think the reason I wanted to do it because I would be like an awesome bad ass lol and make bomb money, but lately I've been thinking about doing psychiatry mostly because I think I would like it and a lot of people say I would be great at. Would I still be considered a doctor though? would I make ok money? would I have more of a life? anyone who is a doctor or in med school or even a pre meds opinion would be greatly appreciated but anyone's opinion is helpful 😁
