Has anyone else gained a lot of weight?

Question

I'm 16 weeks and I was 150 pounds pre pregnancy. I went to the doctor today and I'm 180 😥 the doctor didn't say anything about my weight gain but, is that normal??? I feel like I should've gained 30 pounds through my entire pregnancy, not in 16 weeks!
Am I going to lose this weight easily? I'm kind of freaking out over here.

If the doc doesn't say anything to you then I wouldn't worry. Im 16 weeks too and I've gained 15 lbs

I think normal is a setting on a dryer lol Everyone is different. I was in the Army for my 1st born and I gained 95lbs! buuuttt I also got on a treadmill 2 weeks after and passed my physical fitness test 6 weeks later. I was 26. This time I'm 40. I was already overweight before I started IVF and the meds didn't help. I am trying my hardest to eat healthy because I know my body might not bounce back like it did before. I'd say try to stay away from junk food and eat as healthy as you can, don't listen to people telling you to eat for 2, talk to your doc about your concern and DO NOT compare yourself to other women. Everyone is different and every pregnancy is different. Just do the best you can mama!

I gained most my weight 
1st tri my 1st pregnancy, and it was a total of 34 lbs. don’t worry too much!

I've actually lost 8 pounds since I've been pregnant. My best friend just had her baby and she had gained 75 pounds. It varies from person to person.

Everybody gains/ loses differently. With my first... i didn’t even know I was pregnant till 25 weeks (long story) and when I found out I was around 150 lbs. when I had her I was 203😳😳 before I left the hospital I had already lost 20 lbs... apparently I held a lot of fluid. And honestly with the rest of the weight.... I was still working on it when I got pregnant with our second.

I’m the opposite I was 54 kilos when I was around 4 weeks which is my normal weight I am now 50kilos and I’m scared that I’m not going to put weight on! You will be fine girl you will be able to lose it xx I wish I was in you being able to gain weight and shit

I am 18 weeks and I have gained 10 pounds. I hate when people say normal. There could be a ton of reasons for the weight gain but if you are really concerned, I would talk to your doctor. They can give you the best advise here :) take care of you lady!!!
