I’m 20 years old and for basically the past three years I have not owned a bed. I slept on an air mattress for most of it and when I was not sleeping on one it was when I either lived with an ex (short period of time) or I slept over at someone else’s house on occasion.

I just couldn’t afford one, hell now I couldn’t even afford one but now I have an apartment. Now I have a washer and dryer. Now I have food in my kitchen. Now I have clothes in my closet. Now my bills get paid. Now I’m just fine.

Today I got a bed.

I don’t have a bed frame.

I don’t have a headboard or a footboard.

I have a mattress and a box spring.

And I am 100% happy.

I’m also in a happy relationship now and my s/o hated that I had an air mattress and would stop staying with me as he found it uncomfortable.

Now that’s over!!!
