Implantation bleeding?

So my period is due in 5 days, my bf and I were having sex and he pulled out at one point and there was a small amount of blood on his penis. I ran to the bathroom thinking it was my period but it wasn’t. My first thought was maybe I wiped too hard last time I used the bathroom, but we have been having a lot of unprotected sex this past month. Is it too close to my period for it to be implantation bleeding or is it still possible? Also is implantation bleeding something all women experience when they conceive?
