Is it Norma to ovulate 6 days before your period?

Hi guys! So I've been checking my ovulation with the smiley kit right after my last period. I didn't ovulate 12-14 days after my period like glow predicted. But I took it today- and my periods are normally 24-28 days and I got a happy face! But that's 4-6 days before my periods! Is that normal? Anyone experience something similar?

You’ll have to wait and see when your period comes. It will most likely be late this cycle if you ovulated late. A 6 day luteal phase is unlikely and extremely short, should be closer 12-14 days.

You can get an LH surge right before your period. its more likely that's whats happening and why you got the smiley.
