What is the perfect hair length?

My LO (10 wks) has just started grabbing at my hair. I’ve been considering doing something new with it since he was born. Since I no longer have to dress up for work each day (SAHM now) I’m rocking a lot more ponytails with my bangs pinned back. 
Being able to put it up in a ponytail is a must, but I don’t know if I should cut it short so he can’t reach the ponytail or leave it longer/grow it out so I have more easy options like, bun, braids, etc.

I just cut mine to a couple inches below my collarbone and love it! It's finally out of my way while nursing!

I had long hair pp with my first and now I have about shoulder length. The shorter hair is much easier to deal with, particularly now as I'm going through the pp hair loss stage.

I have twins and was a ponytail girl before, now it goes straight into a high messy bun every morning or else they’re grabbin at it! That way its still long for when I want to wear it down and cute. If it were any shorter tying it up wouldnt work and then you just have a bunch of short hair still all over! No thanks!
