It all depends on when you're ready. My SO other wasn't a virgin but I was and it took me awhile to be comfortable with sex, I was always scared it was going to hurt really bad or be a terrible experience. But I knew I was ready because 7 months after being together we were cuddling and he whispered in my ear to wake up, and BAM I lost my virginity that night. No pain, no awkward moments, it was random but perfect and ik i was ready. He was also very supportive of my waiting, so that helped a lot.

I was pretty sure I was always gonna save myself for marriage but when I got to high school and I met the love of my life I did make him wait at least 5 months almost 6 two more days would have been 6 months but it depends on you and your relationship if you think y'all are ready for that next step you'll know I did it was kinda shy and everything but he was so sweet about it and that's what made it just perfect I can honestly say I don't regret ever giving him my v card and we are still together till this day going on 5 years strong but I made him wait because at first he wasnt as serious about our relationship as I was so I held out till he started showing me he was serious took him a bit to get out of his single lifestyle and used to someone actually caring about him but eventually he started showing me he wanted this as much as I did
