IVF vs iui

So my husband and I did not get the news we were hoping for at our fertility clinic today. After 3 months of hcg shots for my husband 3 days a week to help with his low sperm counts, we found out they did not help. They are still low 2.7 million. Our doctor said we could still try iui but that it probably wouldn’t take at having a less than 10% chance of working. So our next option would be Ivf at having about 40-65% chance, but obviously a lot more expensive. Has anyone ever had this same kind of situation or decision to make? Thank you
