My dog has had severe itching the last year and it's been on and off and the vets and we haven't been able to figure it out. The receptionist said to send in a fecal sample just in case it's a parasite like mange or something. From what I've seen, dogs lose a lot of their hair with mange. So my question is, if my dog has had mange the last year, would a lot of hair be missing by now or is that just a misconception. So far he just had a lot of dry skin and loses a little hair but it seems like these both happen more when he's itching a lot. Please help!!!! This has been exhausting for me and my pet. 😔
