Questions about Endo

Hello everyone. I’m new to this app, and wanted to reach out to anyone who has endometriosis that may be able to provide some insight. The last six months my periods have been very different than normal, along with some other pain. I’ve been getting my period 7-10 days earlier than I should every month. My period is very heavy the first two days with a lot of clotting, and then barely anything the next two days, and then my period is over. Throughout the month I have intense pain during sex with deep penetration with cramping, lower back, and pelvic pain afterwards. Sometimes the pain lasts through the next morning. The pain during intercorse will be so unbearable I have to ask him to stop completely. And I also get shooting “lightening” type pains in my vagina area at random times.

I went to the dr and they did a trans signal ultrasound and did some bacterial tests. All came up fine. The dr said he believe I may have endo but will not be able to diagnosis without a laparoscopy first. The operation would cost me close to $3,000, which I simply can not afford at the moment.

So for people who have with experience with endo... are these symptoms that you experience? Do you think the laparoscopy is worth spending? Any advice would be appreciated.
