So my boyfriend and I live in a house with another couple we went to high school with. We are well into college at this point, my boyfriend has lived with them for about a year, and me about 6 months. Our roommates are nasty, don't clean, are extremely loud and obnoxious and have done so many psycho things I won't even get into. They're extremely immature, especially the guy. Long story short, we need to move out.

I have actually already been planning to move out into my own apartment at the end of summer, just for some independence. My boyfriend on the other hand will need to find someone who needs a roommate asap, but those kind of things don't usually happen as quickly as we would like.

If we move out now we will probably just stay with our parents for the summer, which obviously isn't ideal. Minimal sex, houses aren't close, harder to see each other in general. Not impossible but not convenient. If we stay in the house we risk things getting worse. I'm having a hard time biting my tongue, especially lately, and I know I'll pick a fight with them at some point.

Have y'all had any bad roommate experiences? How do you deal with it or what should you do in this situation? Do you think it would be better to leave as soon as possible, or wait out the summer and risk it getting worse?

Please help! Outside opinions always helps get perspective.
