Do you use menstrual cups? Why/why not?

I’ve been wanting to give the menstrual cup a try but I was wondering what others experiences are! Also does anyone know where I can buy one in Australia? I haven’t found a single one anywhere! And online diva cups don’t ship to me.

I have been using a cup for the last 3 or so years and I will never go back to tampons. I love the reduced risk of TSS because I used to be forgetful at taking my Tampons out when I was on my lighter days. I would also get such horrible pains from pulling out a tampon that didn’t collect a lot of blood so it was scraping my insides while it was coming out 😩 I have experienced less and more mild cramps since using the cup and yes it can be a little more messy, but to me it’s so worth it. It collects more blood than a tampon too meaning you have to change it less often!

I don't like in Australia but I bought mine from Walmart in Canada. Try amazon if you can find them anywhere else.

I tried them, followed the instructions to a tee, and I still leaked. They only work for me when my periods are really light.
