How to get used to shoes?

Hi! Is there any way to help babies get used to wearing shoes? My baby will crawl, stand and walk around without shoes on just fine, but the moment I put them on her she stands still like a statue and then cries like her feet are stuck to the floor 😐 idk how to make it something she’s okay with!

I had a similar problem with my first son, I got him shoes that I liked & thought would look cute on him.  But then I realized maybe he doesn't find them comfy.  So I went out to Carter's & they have shoes that go with the stages of standing to walking. Got a pair and got another pair of soft slip ons from wal mart for him. Tried out both and he loved the soft slip ons, he got his comfort and the thought of wearing shoes. So win win. I say buy another pair of shoes that are less bulky, heavy, or even tight or too hard. Once my son got use to his slip ons and started walking more with better Balance, I tried regular toddler shoes on him and he didn't mind it at all.  goodluck.

What kind of shoes are you having her wear? I ask because my son has two pairs of converse and he won’t wear them he always finds ways to get them off he hates them on his feet I figured out it’s because they are just a bit to bulky and heavy so I bought him a few pairs of Robeez shoes and they are light and soft but some pairs still have rubber soles on the bottom so their feet are protected anyways maybe you’d want to check it out just a suggestion worked for us I now have him wear them whenever we are out so he’s getting use to the idea iu
