Spotting after transvaginal us?

Question

Yesterday: They took a swab from my cervix and did an ultrasound. She had a hard time finding baby and was really moving that wand around in there, pushing on my belly, laying me down, sitting me up. Eventually found that lil guy:)
Today: pink/light red spotting when I wipe and on my liners. No cramping really. 
Been trying to lay as much as possible today. I called the after hours ob nurse and she said it’s probably fine. Did anyone experience something similar?

This is one of the reasons I’m scared to get the transvaginal ultrasound question do they try abdominal ultrasound first and if they can’t find the baby they do the transvaginal ultrasound?

Oh .. I had this at the last pregnancy last December and I miscarried!! The ultrasound tech was a bit rough and I felt discomfort the whole time!! The very next day I starting spotting and them turned out to to heavy blood flow !! .. but I also had a cyst and the doctor told me he might have ruptured the cyst!! .. so Hun if you don’t feel comfortable tell them one time or get another ultrasound tech.. but I’m sure ull be fine .. just rest and u are doing!!

Definitely normal, they warned me it would happen which is good because it was quite scary. Red, which I didn’t expect. They said to call if it was more than what I’d consider spotting and if it went on for a few days.

When I had a pap done at 8 weeks I had spotting after. She told me I would and not to worry about it. With anything going up there and touching your cervix it can happen. I’d just take it easy and drink plenty of water. It cleared up after a few days
