How was your first time PP ?

Question

I’ll be 6 weeks PP tomorrow and plan to have sex with my husband again but I’ve heard different stories ? So I was wondering how y’alls first time was after having a baby and how far along PP were you ?
I know I gotta use a lot of lube but I’ve heard it doesn’t hurt or it feels like your losing your period again . I’ve also heard it hurts A LOT or feels weird . I’ve also heard it never feels the same again until 6 months to a year later .
Everyone different though And I’d enjoy to hear your guys’ experiences before we try !

It was 3w4d pp for me and about pretty much every other day since (I was cleared to at my 4 week appointment which was at 3w5d) and it was great!! It hurt just a little bit when we first started but didn’t anymore. Also, I didn’t need any lube so guess that varies from person to person. I think as long as you start out slow and then pick it up - it’s all good!!

After my first it felt really tight and I didn’t feel like my vagina could accommodate his penis anymore (I had an episiotomy) and it was so uncomfortable I didn’t want to have sex anymore lol (we still tried it every now and then but took a while to feel good again) and with my second, it was a little tender but I still had an orgasm the first time :)

I was 5 weeks PP and was scared because I always hear how bad it is. But boy oh boy was it good 🙌🏻 gpost orgasm asap. Enjoy it, take it slow and have fun!!

It was rough for me at six weeks, even though we took it slow and used lube… Honestly though by about eight weeks postpartum it was back to feeling pretty good (still had to take it slow at first though). 😊 Here’s hoping you’re one of the ones who’s able to get right back to it with no problems!!!

I had a c section and the first time pp I felt so swollen it was painful, it’s now 14m pp and feeling normal again
