Basically, I can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t masturbate.

To be weirdly specific: I would rub my legs together either in the pool or if I was like hanging on a bar or something on the playground lol

Obviously, I didn’t even know what masturbation was and I don’t think I ever actually had an orgasm because I was so young
BUT I was just wondering if anyone else masturbated as a kid? I always read stuff about the first time someone masturbated and I just can’t relate 😂😂

yes. at least since i was very small. i think. on and off perhaps but i remember touching myself at a nap time at daycare 😳  
it was definitely a soothing thing as a young child. 
it became a more obvious masturbation when i approached puberty and started reading lewd things and fantasizing.

Yes, but like u said, as a child u (typically) don’t know what masturbation is. All u know is that what ur doing feels good. So, to be honest, I don’t count my early childhood “feel good times” as actual masturbation. Same with early childhood curiosity about seeing and/or touching other people’s bodies, such as playing “doctor” or “house”, I don’t count those times as actual sexual experiences.

You’re not alone. I remember being like 4-5 years old strapped in a child seat and wiggling around to get “the feeling.” Of course I had no idea what I was even doing at the time lol. It’s actually quite normal for kids to “masturbate.” I put it in quotes because they’re not doing it for pleasure, more for a comfort. I learned about it my Human Sex class in college. Kids do it when they don’t feel good, when they’re tired, frustrated, excited, all sorts of things. They do it because it feels good, but they’re not specifically looking to orgasm. Wild, right? 😄
