Did your little one cluster feed at 1-2 days old?

I gave birth to my little one yesterday morning and she cluster fed last night at like 12 to 3 am and then again tonight from like 6 to 12. Is this normal for such a new baby?

Yes. I breastfeed and my little one did the same. 
If you breastfeed, It’s due to the fact that your colostrum is the first thing they get and they only drink a teaspoon sized amount at a time, and digest it just as quickly as they drink. 
Once your milk comes in they will slow down. And in a few weeks time they will experience a growth spurt and cluster feed again.

I haven’t had my baby yet but my two best friends just had babies and both went through cluster feeding the second and third nights. Meeting with the lactation consultant helped them both tremendously with different tips/tricks
